We divide our club into three age groups, ensuring each athlete trains in an environment tailored to their development, experience, and goals: youth, middle school, and high school. No previous experience is required to participate in any level, all you need is a good attitude, discipline, and a pair of running shoes.

Our indoor track club begins preparing for the winter competition season in August. For athletes who do not participate in a fall sport—or who want track to be their primary focus—this is the ideal time to start developing the technical skills and physical foundation needed to perform confidently when competitions begin in December.
This training group meets four days per week, emphasizing strength development, speed training, and event-specific work, including block starts, hurdles, and jumps.
For athletes who do compete in a fall sport, we offer a winter onboarding window from November through December, allowing them to transition seamlessly into indoor track training once their fall season concludes
-
Indoor competitions run from December through the end of February. During the regular season, we typically attend three to four local meets and travel out of state for two to four additional competitions.
Throughout the competition season, athletes continue training four days per week, with weekly training loads carefully adjusted to ensure proper tapering and peak performance at meets.
Athletes who meet qualifying standards also have the opportunity to travel to New York to compete at the Nike Indoor National Championships, which is usually held during the first or second weekend in March.
-
February through May is the official CHSAA season, and the Steadfast coaching staff transitions to coaching the Valor Christian High School Track Team.
-
During the summer months, Steadfast offers a high school strength program designed to help athletes build a solid foundation in the weight room, supporting peak performance and injury prevention throughout the entire year. The program accommodates high school–aged athletes of all experience levels.
This training option is especially well suited for athletes who do not participate in a fall sport and want to make track their primary focus.
