What is Steadfast?

The creation of Steadfast Track Academy in 2020 is just the tip of the iceberg. This team has actually been years in the making. I’ve trained youth athletes since 2014, and competed in collegiate track and field from 2011-2016. And over time I’ve found that it’s not enough to just teach athletes how to run faster. In order to really master their craft, athletes must understand the essential foundations of their movement and become independent learners so they can carry their skills on with them at all levels of competition. After all, this sport demands you control the variables to impact your own performance. No one else can run, throw, or jump for you. Thus I base my training philosophy in mindfulness, autonomy, and resiliency.
I started Steadfast to provide elite track athletes from the high school to the post-collegiate levels with organized, intentional, and individualized world class track and field specific training that can be hard to come by outside of college. Athletes who join the academy can expect ownership of training, mental and physical growth, and coaching that builds the foundation for breakthrough performances.
