Yes! You can join the club at any time, we take the time to onboard new athletes for a smooth integration into the program. Contact us to discuss getting started.
-
Yes, we do! We have athletes from all sports join our program at any point in their athletic career. We can tailor our program to provide you training adaptation without taking away from your other sport.
During the competition seasons, however, be sure to discuss your sports/training load with us. We do not recommend playing multiple sports simultaneously during track competition seasons. In our experience, we tend to see:
Those that are doing two sports during competition season at once fall behind the progress of their peers who are “all-in” and it can create a difficult environment to thrive in.
Injury risk goes up. We want to reduce injury risk through effective planning and reducing the amount of factors that are stressing your body. Predictable variables reduce injury risk.
It is our belief that you should not be in more than one competitive season at a time.
Lean on this old proverb… “The man (or woman) who chases two rabbits, catches neither”

Yes if:
An athlete really desires to race (isn't burnt out from Spring outdoor)
An athlete needs times for college recruitment
They had a shortened outdoor season due to injury or whatever reason
They are picking up a new event and learning it over summer
They are new to the sport in general and love it - which we want to foster!
If these don’t apply to you, join our summer track strength program. Many of our returners opt into this program to re-build outside of the school year. We focus on building a strength base and beginning speed development to lay the foundation for strong event-specific work in the Fall and Winter.

Absolutely. The same proven speed and power principles we use to develop successful track athletes translate directly to nearly every sport. Whether you play football, soccer, softball, basketball, or another speed-based sport, our coaches will help you improve your acceleration, top-end speed, power, and overall athletic performance.
-
Definitely. Whether you’re entering your senior year of high school and have never touched a track or you’ve been a gymnast for the first 10 years of your athletic career, we take all athletes regardless of experience level. We can teach the sport from the ground up, so don’t let a lack of experience discourage you from trying something new. We’d be happy to welcome you to track and field!

All track meets are optional, so these are not required as a part of participating with our club. Our high school team travels 2-4 times during the winter indoor season depending on meet availability in-state. Parents are welcome/encouraged to join but are not required. Our club books the hotel, arranges meet registration and group transportation, chaperoning meals/downtime, families arrange flights.
We communicate weeks in advance of travel meets for families to help keep arrangements easy, and are readily available for questions and discussions with family to make sure everyone has all of the details they need for travel meets.
-
We use the GroupSpot app for team communication primarily. We post the following in the app to keep everyone up to date during season:
Practice schedules & locations
Weekly updates (typically training goals for the upcoming week, meet info, corny motivational quotes, etc.)
Resources (shoe recommendations, pace charts, workshop notes, event video breakdowns)
Chat function for group messaging or one on one reach outs with coaches.
Register with our team via the programs page to receive our team’s GroupSpot info.
